Looking at the pictures from the Mulberry party at this year’s Coachella festival in California there was one dominant emotion that I felt- utter jealousy!
Coachella boasts the most stylish festival goers, the coolest music and the perfect climate for kicking back and relaxing. Acts including Bon Iver, Florence and the Machine and the ever eclectic Rihanna took to the stage to perform and celebrities were out on force to showcase all the latest trends.
Mulberry hosted a star-studded pool party at the Parker Palm Springs and reflecting the luxury brands inspiration for their Autumn/Winter 2012 collection, the party was monster-themed in honour of the children’s book Where the Wild Things Are. Celebrating her 22nd birthday whilst at the festival, Emma Watson looked like a true fashionista in an A/W Mulberry Fuzzy tiger print dress and fedora. She posed for pictures with new girl on the scene Lily Collins who looked pretty in a floaty blue dress- a Mulberry number of course. Creative director Emma Hill modelled a S/S 12 white lace dress which fitted perfectly with the Californian weather. Lace was clearly a strong trend at the festival with Lindsay Lohan spotted in a similar white dress and Emma Roberts sporting a see-through black lace crop top teamed with floaty tribal trousers.
Boho falls hand in hand with festivals and Katy Perry, a true Californian girl worked the hippy-chic look with a floor length floral floaty number and striking purple long locks. Most stylish couple had to go to Michael Polish and Kate Bosworth who looked the epitome of boho in shorts, ankle boots and floaty tops. And Brit girl Florence Welch wowed audiences with her dramatic style in an inky blue floor-length Hannah Marshall creation.
Coachella 2013- I have to be there! One way or another!
